3D Cut-out steel panels and 2D mural artwork
570 William St Highgate WA.

60 individual artwork panels, cut through steel panels with powder coat finish. The shadow play and movement created on the exterior elevation of the building makes the work come to life at different moments of the day. When the sun moves the reach of the shadows change, overlap and reduce. Combining the individual forms into one large changing form. The abstract icons represent elements of the site location and history. Playing with ideas of sense of place, community and spacial balance. The steel panels are complimented by a large three storey painted artwork.
